2026 Evening Speaker
Evangelist Lynn Lapka
This year, our speaker will be Lynn Lapka. Lynn and Holly will be celebrating 37 years of marriage this summer. They have two daughters who are married to great men and one grandson. They love the great outdoors—hiking, biking, and skiing—and enjoy traveling whenever they have the opportunity. Born and raised in the beautiful state of Montana, they spent 25 years pastoring there.
After decades of preparing messages and leading trips to biblical lands, God began stirring a deep calling in their hearts—to encourage and excite the people of God with the revelation of Jesus in the Old Testament and to communicate His message of love from the very beginning.
Stepping out in faith, Lynn and Holly now travel full-time, teaching and preaching in churches, camps, and conferences. From the pages of the Old Testament to the fulfillment found in Jesus, they love helping others discover the beautiful story of redemption woven throughout all of Scripture.
Their passion is to bring the Bible to life by exploring its cultural and historical context—so that people don’t just read the Word, but truly experience it. Their prayer is that hearts would burn with a fresh passion for Jesus, just like those on the road to Emmaus, as people begin to see Him more clearly in every part of Scripture.
2026 Morning Speaker
Dr. Sondra Cave
Dr. Sondra L. Cave has spent her life investing in people through ministry, teaching, and encouragement. She and her husband, Bob Cave, faithfully served together in pastoral ministry, including at Faith Chapel, where they helped lead, disciple, and encourage others in their walk with Christ. Sondra has long been known as a gifted Bible teacher, communicator, and encourager, with a deep passion for helping people grow spiritually and live out their God-given calling.
Dr. Cave also served for 18 years as a professor and chair of sociology at MidAmerica Nazarene University, where she influenced countless students through her teaching and leadership. In addition, she is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach and Consultant who has worked with churches, ministry leaders, businesses, and organizations to help individuals and teams better understand their strengths and serve more effectively. Her ministry has taken her to churches, retreats, women’s events, conferences, and community gatherings, where she has consistently brought wisdom, insight, and practical encouragement.
Sondra holds a special place in the hearts of the Woodston Camp family. Over the years, she and Bob have become beloved friends of the camp and a treasured part of its ministry. We are grateful to welcome Dr. Sondra L. Cave as our morning service Bible teacher.
