At Woodston Camp, the kitchen is more than just a place to grab a bite—it’s the heart of camp hospitality, where faith and food are woven together around every table. Overseen by Carleen Knoll, the kitchen staff lovingly prepares home-cooked meals that are as nourishing to the body as the services are to the soul.
Though the facilities may be rustic, the meals are anything but. Campers enjoy fresh-baked bread, a crisp and colorful salad bar, and homestyle entrees served with a generous helping of comfort. And of course, no meal is complete without a daily dessert that feels like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen.
In the afternoons, the camp keeps things rolling with a variety of concessions—perfect for a quick treat between activities. But the real after-hours favorite? That’s the Snack Shack, open after evening services, where campers gather for snacks, laughter, and late-night fellowship under the stars. It’s where connections deepen, stories are shared, and second helpings of both snacks and friendship are always on the menu.
At Woodston, food isn’t just fuel—it’s a ministry, a memory, and a moment shared.
